My name is Olga Rankin. I am 37 years old. I am from Uzbekistan. I have been living here in Northern Ireland for three years.

I came here because I met my husband, Joe, who lives in Northern Ireland. I live here in Derry/Londonderry with my husband, my daughter and my little son, who was born last year.

For this photo session, I brought some things from Uzbekistan. It is a nice colorful cover for teapot. Also, a little purse made from traditional Uzbekistan material called “Khan Atlas”. The little purse is given to me by my friend and it is made from traditional material, which Muslim women use to make their dresses, purses and different things. My friend gave it to me. It reminds me of her.
